Information We Collect

We collect personal data only when you provide it through our forms: name, email, phone (optional), country, travel dates and any details you share about your trip. Technical data: when you visit the site, Vercel Analytics records cookie-free, anonymous usage signals (page views, device type, country). We do not run advertising trackers or cross-site fingerprinting.

How We Use Your Information

We use your data only to (1) reply to your inquiries and send you a tailored quote, (2) deliver the booked driver or tour service, (3) keep operational and accounting records required by law, and (4) improve the site based on aggregated, non-personal analytics. We never sell or rent your data.

Legal Basis

Under the GDPR and Moroccan Law 09-08 on the protection of personal data, we rely on (a) the performance of a contract when you book a service, (b) your consent when you submit a contact or custom-tour form, (c) our legitimate interest in operating a secure, performant website, and (d) compliance with legal obligations such as accounting and tax records.

Who We Share Data With

We share personal data only with (1) our drivers and operational team, strictly to deliver your booking, (2) Resend, our email delivery provider, to send confirmation and reply emails, and (3) Vercel, our hosting and analytics provider. We do not share data with advertisers, brokers or any third party for marketing purposes.

How Long We Keep Data

Booking records are kept for the duration of the engagement plus the minimum required by Moroccan accounting and tax law (typically 10 years for invoices). Inquiry messages from contact forms are kept up to 24 months unless you request earlier deletion. Analytics data is aggregated only and is not tied to an individual.

Your Rights

You may request at any time access to your data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion (subject to legal retention obligations), restriction or objection to processing, and portability of data you provided. To exercise any right, email contact@drivemorocco.com. We reply within 30 days. You may also file a complaint with the Moroccan CNDP or, if you are in the EU, your local data protection authority.

International Transfers

Our email and hosting providers (Resend, Vercel) operate servers in the European Union and the United States. Transfers to the US rely on the European Commission's Data Privacy Framework adequacy decision and equivalent contractual safeguards.

Security

All data transmitted to and from drivemorocco.com is encrypted with HTTPS/TLS. Submission forms are rate-limited and protected against automated abuse. Internal access to booking data is restricted to the operational staff who need it. No method of transmission is fully secure; we apply commercially reasonable safeguards.

Children

Our services target adult clients booking for themselves or their family. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16 without parental consent.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our practices evolve or as the law requires. The last update date is shown at the top of this page. Significant changes will be flagged on the home page for a reasonable period.
